LTX(tm) Supports ARX in AutoCAD LT(R) 2000

Fredericksburg, Ohio, January 18, 2000 -- ManuSoft began shipping LTX(tm) 2.0, a new version of the AutoCAD LT Extension engine for loading and running AutoCAD(R) ARX applications in AutoCAD LT. The LTX 2.0 toolkit adds support for AutoCAD LT 2000 and improves stability and compatibility on all supported platforms. The LTX engine is targeted toward developers of commercial and in-house ARX add-ons who want their existing applications to run on AutoCAD LT. LTX 2.0 supports AutoCAD LT 97, AutoCAD LT 98, and AutoCAD LT 2000.

LTX is the first completely transparent interface between existing ARX applications and AutoCAD LT. Applications using the LTX engine run in AutoCAD LT exactly the same way that they run in AutoCAD. The full array of ARX functionality is available to LTX applications, including custom object classes, reactors, custom commands, etc.

LTX is licensed on an annual basis, and includes ongoing support and updates as part of the license. Both flat-rate and volume-based licensing options are available.
