QuikPik Now Available for AutoCAD(R) 2000

Fredericksburg, Ohio, May 5, 1999 -- QuikPik(tm) 2.00, now with support for AutoCAD(R) 2000, began shipping this week. The new version of the popular shareware utility adds several new features specifically designed to eliminate user interface aggravations introduced in AutoCAD 2000.

QuikPik's new "Enhanced right-click" feature is designed to keep context menus out of the way unless they're needed, without sacrificing any functionality. Other new features prevent accidental dragging of new AutoCAD 2000 modeless dialogs, translate fast right-clicks to a keyboard <Enter> even in dialogs, save the "Open as read-only" state of the OPEN dialog between invocations, and cause menu picks to register when the pick button is pressed instead of when it is released.

QuikPik is available directly from ManuSoft, with costs ranging from US$30.00 per seat for individual licenses up to US$500.00 for a site license.
